South Bend Record Show returns Oct. 3 with tens of thousands of music items

SOUTH BEND — The South Bend Record Show takes place from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 3 at Ramada by Wyndham, 52890 Indiana 933 N.

Nearly 40 dealers from Indiana, Illinois, Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin will fill 87 tables with tens of thousands of music items. The core of the show remains used LPs with select vendors also carrying new vinyl releases, 45s, CDs, cassettes, music videos, posters, memorabilia and vintage stereo gear.

The emphasis is on rock, pop, metal and punk from the 1960s to today, but various musical genres, including jazz, country and movie soundtracks, also are represented.

Those who are fully vaccinated for COVID-19 are not required to wear a mask inside the Ramada. Masks, however, are strongly encouraged for those who are not vaccinated.

Admission is free after 11 a.m. Early-bird admission begins at 9 a.m. for $5.
